This site aims to summarize my bachelorthesis in industrial design.
After 4 years of studying design and 2 internships with a focus on transportation, i felt the need to reassess my original motivation "to design cars” fundamentally.
The result was a personal questioning of our current concept of mobility in sociocultural, ecological, economical and also moral aspects in the discipline of design.
Here, i want to show the results of this examination of our current architecture of mobility - and give an overview about as many relevant aspects of contemporary mobility as possible. This site in general, and my design specifically, do not make a claim of being complete. I will continuously edit and add content to this project.
I want to thank my parents and friends for their support during the 12 months of my Bachelorproject. I also want to thank Prof. Peter Naumann for the contentual freedom and opportunities the university granted me during this thesis.
